Refund policy

Maison Éclat Private Limited maintains the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. This policy outlines the terms under which returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty claims may be processed for products purchased directly from our website.

SECTION 1 — RETURN ELIGIBILITY
Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

a) The return request must be initiated within ten (10) days of the date of delivery.
b) The product must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
c) The product must be returned in complete original packaging, including the box, protective case, authentication card, and accessories.
d) A valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) must be submitted with the return request
e) Customised orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges

Maison Éclat reserves the right to reject any product showing signs of use, wear, or damage not related to manufacturing defects.

If your purchase qualifies for a return, please complete the returns process directly in your account portal by logging into your account using your email on www.eclat-eyewear.com

SECTION 2 — NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following categories are not eligible for returns or exchange:

a) Products purchased on sale, promotional offers, or as part of bundled discounts.
b) Gift cards or store credit vouchers
c) Items damaged due to misuse, mishandling, negligence, or unauthorized repairs
d) Items returned without complete packaging or proof of purchase

SECTION 3 — EXCHANGES
Exchanges are permitted within ten (10) days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

a) Exchanges are processed as store credit equivalent to 100% of the original value.
b) Store credit can be used to purchase any available item online.
c) The returned product must meet all return eligibility requirements in Section 1 & 2

Customers can initiate an exchange process by signing into their account and directly using the return feature on their orders, or sending us message on +916239920244 or emailing order@eclat-eyewear.com to initiate the exchange process.

Availability of stock for replacement is not guaranteed, as all Éclat products are made in limited batches.

Maison Eclat Private Limited is not liable to issue refunds or exchanges for items returned to the incorrect address, without proper documentation or verification of purchase or for items damaged during transit. 

SECTION 4 — REFUNDS
Once a return is received and inspected, an email notification will be sent confirming approval or rejection of the refund.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days.

Eligible refunds are issued for 100% of the value. Return shipping charges may apply for certain regions. 

Maison Éclat reserves the right to deny any refund request that does not comply with this policy.

SECTION 5 — DELAYED OR MISSING REFUNDS
If a refund has not been received within 10 business days of confirmation:

Customers should verify their bank or credit card account.

Contact the issuing financial institution to check for processing delays.

If unresolved, customers may write to order@eclat-eyewear.com for further support.

SECTION 6 — WARRANTY
Maison Éclat sunglasses are covered under a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects, including:

a) Loose or misaligned hinges
b) Defective rivets or frame joints
c) Warping or splitting of acetate under normal use
d) Delamination or bubbling of lenses (non-impact related)

This warranty does not cover damages due to accidents, misuse, scratches on lenses, general wear and tear, or unauthorized modifications.

Customers who join our program called "Éclat Privé", available only at www.eclat-eyewear.com/eclat-prive are entitled to an extended warranty of two (2) years under the same terms.

All warranty claims must be supported by photographic evidence and proof of purchase, and must be submitted via email to support@eclat-eyewear.com.

SECTION 7 — GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, store credit will be issued upon return approval.

If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

SECTION 8 — RETURN SHIPPING
In most cases, Maison Eclat Private Limited will cover the cost of return shipping within the ten (10) day period for eligible returns. However, in certain cases customers will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping.

Maison Éclat recommends using a trackable courier service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Maison Éclat does not assume liability for lost or undelivered returns.

SECTION 9 — AMENDMENTS
Maison Éclat Private Limited reserves the right to revise this policy at any time without prior notice. By placing an order, customers agree to the terms stated herein.
